I love your Nina <3 And the fic and the song really do echo each other. Purgatory is a good place for your writing :) Um, and don't mean it in a 'you should be stuck in Purgatory' way.

Nina's burns marks :( it's so sadly ironic that George makes that promise and then gives her an entirely different set of scars.

She opens the door and steps into the bluish light and keeps herself from thinking: thank God it’s over. She has been through too much. Such brutal death too. And byet she still loves George.

It's awesome that you sneaked in grown up Eve too. The fact that they never actually meet makes it even more poignant.

Death is a snowfall of memories, suspension marks and splinters of the past rising like jagged rocks around the corner. beautiful line!

LOL, there's a pattern in my writing: whenever I can't write smn, I angst them up. XD Until they become writeable.
I heard this song today for the first time and was like: OMG, wanna write))) I thought I'd try my hand at Nina (the other option was Eve again))). Been wanting to write George/Nina for ages, but George kind of got sidelined here.
Um, and don't mean it in a 'you should be stuck in Purgatory' way. Well... if that means partying with Anthony, I'm all for it. ;)))
I've begun to notice so many things since I started rewatching the series. Like George's promise not to hurt her - and then hurting her. T_T
Eve is a bit like Cutler (who's been strangely absent... must be taking offense for the Spike hair O_o). She'll sneak in everywhere)))

Oh goodness this is terribly sad. I hated the way that the finale seemed to ignore the tragedy of Eve never existing, and this perfectly fills the gap. Plus, Nina. I fucken love Nina. Brava!

Tbh I hope the matter of grieving over Eve's death and Annie's passing will be addressed in series 5, but I keep losing hopes for it because series 5 is even shorter than the previous ones, they probably will want to get straight to the new storylines... It's unfair. T_T

Do I detect another "fourth wall" gibe? ;) It always weirded me out that the werewolf blood didn't seem toxic before it got convenient in series 4.

Love the idea of the stillness of time in Purgatory, Eve remaining a baby forever (it's like they can't ever catch a break, can they?) and the final image of a boat. And the song really fits in terms of the mood. Lovely story, sis. :)

We know it isn't but Nina might take some convincing to do))) If they ever have a second baby in Heaven (which is where they are according to my headcanon from Quicksand), they'll ttly call her Sapphire. Even if it's a he)))
