When Axel’s betrayal became obvious it was not Axel Saïx hated with as much passion as a Nobody could muster. He was angry at Axel, sure, but the hatred was reserved for Roxas. He hated how that boy had taken Axel from him, turned Axel against him, hated that Roxas had been able to give Axel something Saïx couldn’t.

(he made me feel like i had a heart…)

(and maybe Saïx just didn’t want to admit that he was the one who had driven Axel away in the first place)
