Good weekend.
Friday night i went to Organiz with
kaometrik. Ran into some folk i hadn't seen in a while. Made new friends. Made better friends.
Saturday i woke up to buy Tool tickets for everyone. Then decided to crawl back into bed. Had a nice sleep in, then puttered around, cleaning and tending to creatures.
Mice drink a lot more water than you think they do. Amun shed out again, in one big lovely piece. What a handsome 'nake he is.
Later in the afternoon, kao and i vaguely organized our crap and ventured out to Wreck beach. We tanned out boobies, watched the people go by, stared at the ocean, puffed, chatted with folk, then watched the sun go down to cheers and dancing and drums.
The Wreck stairs aren't as bad as i remember. Don't get me wrong, my calves are still a little sore, but i didn't think i was going to die.
Then we met Dan the man at Spanish banks, sat in the sand and talked about the nature of life.
I went home, showered and changed and drove to West Van (yes, at like 12:30am) to hang out with Joseph at his friend Jen's house. Her family has a really nice place with decks, trees, fountains and a fire basin. Joe and i went home to his place where i put the very tired boy to bed. He worked on Sunday (poor thing), so i drove his cranky ass to work in the morning, went home, met up with mum and did some shopping.
I discovered shorts that i can wear that don't make me look like a knob! A number of bargains and several hours of retail therapy later, new summer swag for the girl.
Then i was off with
cecelicious to
earthmonkey's to pick up the dreads i left there. Chilled for a bit, then home so kao could installed then into the nekkid part of the back of my head.
Hair was too short, the angle too awkward, for me to do it myself. Thanks to the Kao.
Then bed. And a really nice sleep. I dreamed of things, but nothing alarming.
