UPDATE!!!!!
Hehe, so Jekyll and Hyde opens tomorrow...technically today...it'll be interesting. The costumes are fantastic. I can't believe they were made by one wonderful (although sleep deprived) girl. I feel so freaking hot in my whore costume hehe.
I finished The Shadow of a Gunman about four weeks ago and I still miss it. I've grown accustomed to speaking in an Irish accent. Plus, I got a compliment from Julie, and she proceeded to let me into her audition seminar next semester even though it was full...and while she probably would have let anyone who was interested in, it still made me feel good. It was probably my most complete role, if that makes sense. It just felt good to do a straight play. I've done so many comedies and musicals...it was nice to show people that I can do more. Few of them know that those straight plays are what I love most.
I'm so excited for next semester when Caitlin's back and I'm in an insane amount of acting classes. I got into the Acting for Musical Theatre class, but the most exciting is Directing with David Hammond. He's the current artistic director for the reperatory company here, but he's leaving after next semester, so I'm one of the last to learn from him.
Oh...I turn 20 on Tuesday.....and I'm going to officially be a junior in like a week....one word. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH SCARY okay that's two words, but whatever.
As for summer, I'll be home working in Astoria again. As much as I want to act, I think a break will serve me well and honestly, I need the money.
