[Natsuhi had been happy to spend the night in an inn - camping out was something she definitely wasn't used to. Having woken up a bit early, after having breakfast she went out to see a bit of this city before she and Will headed on towards Violet. As she walked around, she made sure to keep an eye out for the soul-stealing bugs that were causing so much trouble, but it seemed like the main part of the city had been well cleared of them ( ... )

[Even when getting a little used to not being recognized by any family members, there is still a bit of a sinking feeling when Lion realizes that of course it is the same with Natsuhi.

Lion had been avoiding this meeting, partly to find a way to explain how fragments and other similar things worked to her (and maybe a little out of denial) but well. It was done now. So Lion finished putting the pokégear back in place, and gave Natsuhi a smile and a polite bow.]

Hello...

[So well-mannered... For a brief moment Natsuhi wished Jessica could behave a little more like this. Not that she'd give her daughter up for anything in the world, but... She managed a tentative smile and a polite nod back.]

You're... Lion Ushiromiya, aren't you? Maria mentioned that someone named that was here. And I sort of feel that I should know you but I don't...

You are correct. My presence here is... [A small pause.] Is a complicated story.

I apologize for not introducing myself earlier, but I know the first days in Johto are quite disorienting and I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable when you had arrived so recently.

[She nods again, this time with understanding.]

That is the impression I had gotten from others I had spoken with, and you're quite correct that my arrival here left me with a number of things to wrap my head around. But we have met now, and I would like to hear your story. Though the middle of a road is hardly the best place to have such a conversation.

I know of a place where we could sit and have some tea, if you would like it better.

That sounds excellent. I don't think I've had a good cup of tea since arriving in Johto.

I'm sure you will love this place then. I used to visit it quite often when I was in Cherrygrove...

[And off they goooo, Lion's four months in Cherrygrove really pay off in these moments xD]

Most of the teas here are very similar to the ones back in our world, but there are also some new things to try.

Trying new teas is something I enjoy. You sound like you've spent more than a little time in this city.

I spent about four months here.
It was winter when I arrived to Johto and it was snowing quite a bit, so I decided to stay in Cherrygrove until spring arrived...

A sensible decision, given the means of travel available here.

It was a fortunate choice too, as it left me close enough to New Bark Town to provide assistance for the people who had arrived just recently.

That was very kind of you.

Many people here were truly kind and helpful to me, so it was the least I could do to repay it.

[She nods.]

A number of people were quite helpful in answering my questions when I first arrived here.

...How much farther is it to the place you were thinking of?

[And Lion smiles a little.] We are almost there.

[And true to that, there is a small teahouse not too far from there. It doesn't look high class or expensive, but it has a bit of a cozy charm to it.]
