Haaaa... I must be the only person who treats newborn Pokémon the same as all his others...

I believe that teaching and training a pokémon that has not lived in the wild is probably different to teaching one that has...

Childhood is supposed to be the most important part in the learning process of humans, after all, it may be the same with pokémon.

Er... Well... It's more along the lines of I have a hard time seeing them as babies or children like everyone seems to...

Them being so tiny probably helps to that impression.

I do think of them as children, but I also believe that discipline is important in a child's life.

Aaaa... Well, that's the thing.

Mine have always come from their eggs full size.

Well, that's interesting...

I really wish there were more books about pokémon here in Cherrygrove.

Ah, there's an entire library of books in Violet-! Along with a academy of sorts, for beginners.

I'll make sure to look for that library as soon as I get to Violet, I'm sure there must be something about that.

[Looks at the tiny pokémon on the side.] I can't complain about these being smaller than their grown up forms, however, I don't know how we would all have fitted in this room otherwise, and I really don't want to get them into their pokéballs so shortly after getting out of their eggs.

I never looked around it much myself, so there very well could be!

Mmm... I can understand that. If I didn't book a double room, I would never be able to let Hina out aside from when we're outside.

And if there isn't, it will be an interesting topic to take some notes.

[Yay, huge pokémon.] What species of pokémon is Hina?

Ahaha... I've just been too busy to invest in looking up books. I should have done it while I was stopping over in Violet...

--ah! She's an Arcanine. I can only let her out in my room if I'm really careful and let her huddle up on a bed.

I will let you know if I find anything interesting, Ayasaki-san.

[Gives a quick check to the pokédex... Oh.] Ah, I understand, she probably takes much space.

*nod!* I'd appreciate that!

Yeah... She used to be so much smaller... But now it's a hassle to let her out inside. I'm just glad the rooms at the hotels and inns are large enough to accommodate her stretching her legs, even if only barely.

Some pokémon have incredible growth spurts when they evolve, it's impressive.
