Anyways, before that comic, I was on the DevArt Music Forum and asked for some suggestions for symphonic/gothic metal bands to replace Nightwish for their hiatus. Many amazing bands were discovered such as: Epica, Within Temptation, Tristania, Leaves Eyes, Haggard, Angtoria, After Forever and Theatre of Tragedy. But back to what I'm trying to get at here.
Random girl #1: OHH I know! Apocalyptica!!! The violins in that band are soooooo amazing.
*Well, ok, yes Apocalyptica is good, but they play the cellos.
Random girl #2: Um....Apocalyptica plays cellos.
Radom girl #1: oh lol. I don't know much about instruments.
Well, wtf? I'm certain that you don't need to take a class or music theory to tell the difference between a violin and an instrument 3 times its size. I really really really hate it when people just can fucking admit that they're wrong. Like when one of my parents leave the keys in the front door for the whole night and then tell me that they thought I was going somewhere later. What, at 11:00 P.M.?
