Carbon Leaf - Life Less Ordinary (evocative lyrics that hit close to home)
Green Day - Good Riddance (yeah so everybody played it in 1997, it still always ends before I want it to)
Old Blind Dogs - Linden Rise (I likes me some kickass fiddle, and this is the best I've ever heard)
Fountains of Wayne - Hey Julie (great guitar, and I love the simplicity of the song's theme)
Ben Folds - The Luckiest (one of my favorite love songs, like it so much I learned to play and sing it)
Incubus - Echo (beautiful oriental-sounding guitar, this song displays the best of Incubus in my opinion)
