well, it's been a while since i last updated. so, here it goes!
let's start at the weekend.
friday: chilled at home for a bit, met up with nick, we met up with alaysha and misse, then we met up with matt and lauren.
we walked to a room, we chilled, i took some ice, got some chips, watched some tv, sat outside. eventually fell asleep. let me tell you..those floors were not comfortable at all.
Saturday: ah, the morning comes around, apprently it rained before we left. we walked home early morning, it was like..8 maybe. it felt good outside, and the walk wasn't too bad, but it did seem to last a while, more so than usual. i found a knife with no handle, i threatned to shank everyone then threw it away. eventually made it back to the hood, said goodbyes to alaysha, lauren, and matt..then to nick, made my way home, checked some websites out, got a shower and went to bed. took me a while to fall asleep, woke up around 1:45..but fell back asleep until about 3. went to nick's..we went to brandon's..we left there after a bit. came back to the hood..chilled..uhh..got a movie eventually. the movie was called "Gang Tapes"..it was a movie that followed a young boy with a stolen video camera, he idolized his brother, who was in a gng..it showed the gang life and how he changed from being just another young kid to a gang member, it followed his downfall and eventually, well..i'll let you watch it to find out.
Sunday: uhmm, good question..apprently not too much, haha
Monday: eventually met up with Nick, then Matt, Alaysha, and Lauren came over..Matt, Nick and I played some hack..then Nick's brother joined in..we cracked alot of jokes about different things..they left after a little while, and so did i. came home..uhh..watched some tv..then eventually went to bed.
i haven't done anything today, so didn't even ask.
i've been slacking on my reading lately..i'm ashamed of myself...oh the shame.
well may is coming up..and this sunday is like a dream come true. after years of waiting..it's finally coming back.
new FAMILY GUY episodes Sunday, May 1st on Fox..it comes on at 9 and after that comes on the creators other show, AMERICAN DAD.
Audioslave and System of a Down also have new things coming out in May.
a couple of shows at Thee Imperial in may.
TUES 5.3 - VADER, PRO-PAIN, HELL WITHIN, ONLY HUMAN. More bands TBA. Doors at 7pm
WED 5.11 - HASTE THE DAY, EXTOL, DEAD TO FALL, EMBRACE TODAY, TWELVE TRIBES, FIGHT PARIS, LOSA. Doors at 6pm.
TUES 5.17 - FLESH AND BLOOD ROBOT, IF THE ACCIDENT WILL, ANNIHILATES THE BODY, THE CAUTION CHILDREN. More bands TBA.Doors at 7pm. ..probably some other good stuff to come, but we'll just wait and see.
last week or so, i was sitting on amazon reading reviews for bands and albums i like..and a lot of people seem to think the next big bands to come are, The Red Chord and Class Casket...i agree that they'll probably be big..but..i mean..they didn't seem to think Between the Buired are going to amount to much because "of their singing parts" who cares..they are an awesome band and the snigning fits them. i hate when people will close their minds music all because of little things, like singing and what not..oh well..it's their loss.
i wish we would hurry up and get a new burner. :-/..i keep finding albums i wouldn't mind having, i want to burn everything i have now on data disks and thene arse it all..start over...except for a few things. get some cool videos to burn onto some dvd's would also be nice.
anyone remember that show Liquid Television..what an awesome show that was..they have a DVD that's supposed to be the best of..but alot of people are complaining that alot of the good stuff is missing..so i went and found a site that listed every episode and what was on it..i'd love to get some of that..i haven't seent he show in years, and it was the shpw that started Beavis and Butthead, and Aeon Flux, office space had a cartoon on it..all sorts of odd things.
Mike Judge has a new movie coming out actually. well...according to this site..two of them. one is a remake of an old family movie and this other one is about a man who is sent to the year 3000 and everyone is stupid.
over at Brandon's house i heard the new Walls of Jericho..and i didn't like their other stuff..but their new stuff isn't too bad..i'd like to get it.
i'm rambling..plus i'm running out of things to talk about..so i think i'm done for now. until next time.
