"I love you too," he whispered back. He did, so very much. He'd risked so much - his friendships especially - to be with her and with her like this.

Christa placed her hands on his and laced their fingers together. "I know leaving Jim wasn't easy but I promise to make sure you won't regret it," she told him.

"I know," he replied quietly, lifting his head a little to look at their joined hands. He knew she'd do all she could to make this work.

Even thought they were both very naked and very wet, sex was the last thing on Christa's mind. She wanted to enjoy these moments of solace with him since she knew their lives were about to become quite hectic with the Galaway's upcoming launch.

"If I didn't run the risk of becoming a prune, I'd stay in here for the rest of the day," she happily sighed.

"You'd still be beautiful,"he commented quietly. His free hand he lifted, dragging his fingertips along her arm.

"And flattery will get you everywhere, Doctor McCoy," Christa said as she turned her head enough to capture his lips with her own.

"Wonderful," he laughed quietly, returning her kiss.

Pulling back, she rested her forehead against his. "And what will flattery get me?" she asked with a laugh.

"Absolutely everywhere," he laughed. He was terribly easy when it came to her- but only her!

"I'll make a mental note of that for when I need you to do something for me," she said with a teasing wink.

He laughed then, shaking his head with utter amusement. "Yer goin' to use your feminine wiles to get yer way? Sneaky..."

"I didn't become Captain from not being sneaky," she whispered before she softly kissed him. Pulling back, she leaned against him again. "I wonder if it would be possible to bring this tub with us on the ship."

"Yer th' Captain. You can take anythin' you want on the ship," he laughed quietly. He hoped she had a nice tub up there; these moments together were something he cherished.

"Very true and I think I'll take this with us. We won't be able to use it a lot because of all the water it takes to fill it. It can be something special for us to do," she said with a grin.

"A once in a while deal to enjoy together," he agreed. He had to admit; now he was on flat ground, on Earth, he was more than a little dreading being back up in space. But, he'd get through just like he did on the Enterprise.

"Mmm, how about we get out of here, dry off, and cuddle. I've missd cuddling with you," Christa said as she gave him a smile.
