Things I've been doing.
It's been 6 months since I've really updated this thing. There's been plenty of times I could have - and in fact wanted to, but I'll put it off and never get around to it. I think this is because I'm not spending as much time sitting here at my desk as I once did. Even if I am it's only because the way I use my PC has dramatically changed. I'm here to do work and rarely to relax. I suppose this is a good thing when it's all said and done. Having been chained to a PC and PC related tasks for the best part of 10 or so years is getting quiet old. That, and technology becoming more and more mobile and integrated I see myself checking things on the fly as I'm out doing whatever.
That being said, now that exams are over and work is taking its time with my full time roster, I find myself with a pile of spare time to do things like sort out all the photos I've taken; and *gasp* update the ol' LJ.
Things I did with folterte:
-Work, lots of work. We now both work in CRU - I got promoted some time in June I think. Lots of complaints, lots of amusing happenings and both good and bad memories.
-Absolutely nothing on urbanneurosis.net. whoops.
-Helped out with the best part (apparently) of the last Cybernoize.
Things I did with fragmentdpsyche:
-Discovered the amazing world of yesterday's tomorrow. Enter SteamPunk:
You'll be seeing a lot more of this in the near future.
Things I did with icemaiden:
-Worked at the 2007 MotoGP on the Merchandise stands.
We had the most awesome time eating like kings (chips and MnM's for breakfast), grading yr 7 reports, washing with a 10cm² pink hand towel because I forgot to pack one and laughing at the unfortunate flooding events of other houses.
Things I did with jeziable:
-My birthday party was graciously hosted at her house. At some stage we managed to haul the couches out to the back yard and sat around a fire in a drum, listening to Gyoto monks of Tibet chanting.
Things I did with morbidcuriosity:
-Watched or played many jumping/climbing games such as Crackdown, Prince of Persia and Assassins Creed, then proceeded to scout our neighborhood searching for scalable houses.
Things I did with my_pandemonium:
-Climbed many a rock. Firstly at Hardrock, but for the first time ever we went out to rocks IRL. Lima East is where I camped a lot when I was in Scouts and Venturers. There's an abseiling wall there with a small climbing wall.

Things I did with kathartik:
-On the subject of climbing, because my_pandemonium has gone back to yokelville for a while he missed out on heading to Werribee gorge with us.
The ranger station was supposedly meant to give us a map to get there - or we could just look on the stations window. Once we got to the station, found that they were closed and had no map on the window; we drove of in the approximate direction we thought was correct, then hiked for an hour up a hill we thought may be the one we needed. Luckily it was. Didn't manage to climb all that much, but it was good to test out all our equipment properly.
Things I did with spiderlillies:
-After climbing one night we went over for a BBQ at her new house. It is quite a nice place. We made a Japanese style table in their front patio type area and feasted on 3 different meats and various salad. A great way to welcome summer.
Things I did with others:
-Headed to Crown Conservatory for celebratory lunch with the Uni folk. Ate our weight in sorbet and rich people food. Annoyed the hell out of everyone in the place by playing water glasses.
-Found me a girlfriend:
Things I did with myself:
-Brought a new phone:
Sold the old one on ebay for $510. It didn't receive calls anymore...
-Am doing a lot of Chinese calligraphy, I'm still pretty shit at it so I wont put up any images as yet.
-Krystal got me a Bonsai for my birthday so I'm enjoying working on that too.
I'm sure there's plenty more, but that's as much as I can remember right away. I haven't been out (clubbing) much so I don't see much of you anymore. What's everyone been up to?
