Yay! I'm alive!
Thanks to all who wished me well!
Just got back from the wedding, and boy are my arms tired.^_^
But seriously, it was actually a lot of fun - if exhausting.
Highlights of the trip included the bachelor party in Vegas, which was a blast - and everything you'd expect a Vegas bachelor party to be *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*. The wedding itself was a little bumpy because the ceremony musician decided not to show up :( But other than that, it went off without a hitch.
The reception afterwards was actually one of the best I've ever been to. It was held in the same location as the ceremony - which was nice, since we didn't have to commute, and the DJ - who doubled as the MC - was awesome. There were a lot of surprises in addition to the usual stuff; even though I was in the wedding party, lots of things still came as pleasant surprises.
To name a few: there was the song sung by the bride's cousin Nicole in honour of the newlyweds (man, she was pretty - could have been on Canadian Idol). There was also the serenade my brother wrote and peformed for his new wife... all in all, quite memorable. There were tears shed, to be sure.
*Sigh* I only wish I could have caught the garter ^_~
