pirate hookers and 151
So yesterday started the moving process. Though Geoff gets home Sunday and we begin moving Monday I wanted to get a heads start by moving at least the living room furniture and cleaning up our room a bit (the girl there before us lived there 4 years... so it needed some scrub love!)
Victoria came over and we met up with Geoffs brother Paul and his friend Kevin. We took the seats out of the van and put the couch in. So Vic and I put on pirate hats and got swords and snuggled on the couch in the back till we got there. Unloaded, went back and got the chair and box of dishes and paint and took some shots of 151.
now i've never had 151 before. it tastes horrible! but i was breaking in the new roommates and we were steaming the carpet which i was later rolling around on with my pirate hat... o lordy. Followed by a game of tag on the apt grounds and sitting down to chill with some ducks (we have a lake.)
Got the room clean and was about to paint but it was 1 am and i was in need of some sleep. we did get it tapped off though and so it's ready to go. maintence has to go fix some things tomorrow and then people are coming over the weekend to clean all the caprets in the apt, yay!
the past few days have been too f'ing hot. 100 degrees... 100 degrees... almost 90 degrees... yet today it is nice and cool and i'm going to go get some stencils and more paint and some adhesive wallpaper! mmm iced mocha first? yes indeed
