Long weekend

Kurt has been enjoying a long, Memorial Day weekend and it couldn't be at a better time. Both yesterday and today we've had beautiful, SUNNY weather!   =)

On Saturday, we went over to a neighbors house for a traditional Belgian barbecue. We sat under a large canopy in their garden and ate lots of curry chicken, leeks, sausages, shrimp, garlic sauce

Somehow I missed this post of yours, though I caught Kurts. It sounds like a wonderful day, and I was glad to read about the trip to the beach AND the gardening. I hope you guys have a lot of sunny days this summer, Karen. :)

I'm just finishing Ethan Frome (again) and in the midst of Memoirs Of A Geisha (which I'd never read and find it to be really disturbing), and then I'm OUT of all, but Dutch (*ack*) books. =/
