Dear friends,
The past few years, hundreds of thousands of Israeli citizens in the south have been suffering from missiles being fired at them. Life in the south under missile barrages had become unbearable. Israel did everything in its power to put an end to these horrific conditions. Peaceful agreements were offered to enable normal life for its citizens in the communities adjacent to the Gaza Strip. Peace that Israel offered was met with gunfire.
ISRAEL is now shouting… Enough is enough.
Hamas Terrorist declared to increase attacks on the residents of Israel by firing rockets and mortars indiscriminately. Israel had no other alternative but to respond.
The primary goal for the Gaza Strip operation is to bring about change by improving security that is needed for the residents of the south of the country.
Israel has the right to restore tranquility and give the residents of the south the ability to live the normal lives that every country should be subject to.
Israel is not fighting the Palestinian people but the Hamas Terrorist. This radical organization just like Hezbollah in the second Lebanon war is acting against the residents of Israel;
We must protect our country.
Israel does not have any objective in Gaza. Israeli’s left Gaza by free will and they have not returned. But Israel cannot permit Gaza from becoming a permanent headquarters of threats and killing innocent citizens and children in Israel.
Tuesday afternoon (Dec.30th 2008) a Grad rocket was fired from northern Gaza and landed in Kiryat Malachi. There were no reports of injuries or damage. This attack marked the first time that the city and its surrounding areas have been targeted.
Many children from our partnership family in Kiryat Malachi, Hof Ashkelon and like many others in south Israel are still in the shelters; we want them to breathe fresh air again as well as the children of Gaza.
If you ask Israel to stop shooting it also must apply to Hamas. We will continue to fight for our peace.
