*slow exhale....*

Okay... if there's one thing I've found out, it is that after living more or less ones whole life on the 'net for about 6 months, one develops certain habits - for example, I used to check in to a couple of webpages (okay, a couple dozen webpages...) every day - just to see if there was anything new. One of those was of course my friends page at LJ. Now - lately (ie. the last couple of weeks) I haven't been visiting at all so to speak. At least not commented at all, nothing worth mentioning.

So - I've come to the conclusion that a new GF is kind of a time-trap. All-consuming. Even when I'm not with her, I'm talking to her over the net, or on the phone, or I try to keep up at least a little contact with the rest of the RL world (ie. friends) so that IF, and I underline IF this doesn't work out, I still HAVE a social network, so that I don't have to start from scratch, as I more or less felt I had to do when the last relationship fell apart.

Nevermind - this isn't ranting and bitching - it's just an observation on how much of ones day goes to spend time with, or getting to, or getting home from, a meeting with said GF. It leaves little time for the rest of the world, especially the world living inside the 'net :-)

I apologize in advance to anyone that suddenly feel left out, or ignored (okay - I know this is not an issue - nobody misses me that much here anyways) - I'm not ignoring you, nor have I deleted you or anything - I'm just not that active on LJ when things are looking good - strange that... or not.

Oh well. I hope everyone on my friends list are okay, and I will try to read (at least skim) the posts at a regular basis, and if there is something serious going on, of course I will comment, and I AM REACHABLE BY PHONE (at least for those of you in Norway) if there is anything I should know at once.

But for now, I'm just going back to missing my GF (yes, she abandoned me this weekend to go to Amsterdam with her mom) and generally being, happy, methinks.

(And yes, the "her going away to Amsterdam"-part gives me (hopefully) plenty of time to catch up on my friends list :-)

happy, apology, nonsense, gf
