puppies puppies puppies.....
So last thursday cris and i went and had some chinese food and it almost killed me, i got explosive diarrhea, yea it sucked. i almost passed out on the toilet. well anyways back to thursday, we went to the humane society and were disappointed to see that Ethel ( the poodle i had been eyeing) was gone.
:( after getting into the dog momentum i MADE cris take me to animal control over near downtown. While there I found what I had been looking for. a chihuahua. unfortunately payday wasnt until monday so i couldnt get the dog. we continued walking through and then i saw her. her name was "kiki" she was a black/brown/white terrier mix. she's tiny and they had put her in a kennel with a huge black lab. she was kickin' some ass. so we took her on a leash and went outside to "bond" with her. then i got sad becuz they refused to make payment arrangements until my payday. so i made a call to my dad and he wired me some cash, and i payed for her bail money. She's 5 months old, and she hadnt been fixed so i had to leave here there on friday morning she got fixed. cris picked her up from death row and brought her home :). i'll get pixs of her cuz my dad wants to see her too. she was shy and scared the first few days she was here but today she seems to be warming up to us. she loves being outside, she's so cute :) im so happy. cris is hoping that max (his dog) will get along with her.
in other news, last week we spent a lot of time at cris' mom's house with his mom and stepdad. we helped her go thru a whole slew of arts 'n crafts supplies she needed to put away. she gave this cute little hand mirror. cris said she likes me a lot cuz i'm different from the other girlfriends he's had, so i guess that's a good thing. shes really cool, she's into artsy type things and goes to a lot of art openings and she likes listening to live bands. she has a lot of cool stuff in her house. cris and i fell asleep in the guest room for a bit and his mom went to wal mart and came back with a gift for me. she bought me this shower curtain i had been wanting FOREVER! i was so excited. his grandparents are back from their alaskan adventure and they're the only family members i hadnt meant. i hope they like me.
in other strange news, cris and i went to a wedding of someone in his family and they had karaoke at the wedding! muy strange. however funny when all the drunk people were singing. but all in all karaoke at a wedding.......oh no.
cris has been getting really sick lately im kinda worried. i hope it's not his cancer coming back :( i went with him to the doctor three times last week cuz they're running a lot of tests and stuff. first we went for a regular appointment, then since he was sick they sent him for lab work , then the following day we had to go to the hospital cuz they're doing scans of his abdomen cuz of his pain he's having. he has to go back next week and we found some lumps on his back so i hope they arent tumors or anything. we'll see. i've been praying.
well i guess this is enough fer now. gonna run and go pick up my check here in a bit and hit the store (grocery that is). and pay the rent. meh oh well. well i hope everyone is doing okay and enjoying the last days of summer. well for sure this is one summer going down in the books for me :)
