Frequently Asked Questions

When will the next part/chapter of [insert title here] be released?
We do not have an exact date. It will be out as soon as possible. We do not, and will not, set or announce release dates. While we love our projects and enjoy scanlating, we will always put our real lives and health before scanlations. We hope you will understand and accept this.

Can I reupload your releases and share them with friends?
Sure! Feel free to share our releases with your friends. However, if you're going to share the releases in public forums, sites, or communities, please let us know in advance. We're not going to refuse to let you share them but it'd be nice to know where they end up. =)

How long must I wait before reuploading your releases?
We'd greatly appreciate it if you would wait for at least three days after a new part/chapter has been released before reuploading it. If someone wishes to download new parts/chapters within the first three days of release, please direct them our site/community.

Do you have a future projects list?
No, we do not. We're more concerned with finishing current projects than we are with claiming new ones, so we will not be putting up a list in the future, either.

So while we might work on new projects, we'll never "claim" them until we've actually released something.

Will you send me the raw scans of your projects?
It depends on what you're going to do with them. If it's just to read and you know enough Japanese to be able to read raw scans, you should buy a copy of the actual manga.

Can I rescanlate the project in my language?
You cannot use our released, edited scans. The editors spent a lot of time cleaning and editing them and it wouldn't be fair if all you have to do is just replace the English text with text in another language.

Translations
Be sure to ask the translator(s) before using their translations for retranslation into another language. Some are nice enough to say give permission, others are understandably protective of their hard work.

Raw scans
While I would prefer that you buy a copy of the title/series and scan it yourself, I usually agree to provide my raw scans for use. Just ask politely and I'll most likely send the scans to you. If you go on and on about how much my scans "suck but hey, send them anyway," I'm not going to be very agreeable.

I love your projects! What can I do to help?
Thank you! We're glad that you enjoy our releases! =)

IsoParadigm is not looking for new members right now because we'd like to keep the group small. However, if you can reliably translate manga from Japanese to English, please send an e-mail to

You could also help by leaving comments and constructive criticism about our releases. =)
