Perfect weekend, exhausted Sunday evening

It's been a great weekend, mostly spent in the company of OTO folks.  Saturday we got most of a long-overdue LVX work project done; Sunday I attended a great Gnostic Mass at Blue Horizon featuring
phosteres as Priestess and
selyndria as one of the Children.  I don't get over to BH nearly enough, due mostly to simple logistics. BH is far away from my work and home in a particularly inconvenient direction for someone (like me) who doesn't drive.  Most of the events I've attended there in the last year have been Big Events that were not conducive to calm visiting and simple pleasures; today was a welcome break from that pattern.  And the entity formerly known as
w3woody made a killer lasagna, which is no doubt one of the superpowers he attained on becoming Oasis Master.

In between that and various web and home-cleanup projects,
laurellady and I actually found some time to, like, sit and talk with one another and watch things blowing up on TV, a pleasure we have not shared for far too long with my overscheduled life in the way.  We even had the house to ourselves, as madelineusher is off at a Youth in Government conference in Sacramento (she's under instructions to stick her tongue out at Aaaaahnold should the opportunity arise).

But Monday morning is looming, with the kid returning at oh-dark-hundred and the workday starting shortly thereafter.  I think OTO people need Second Weekend, like the hobbits have Second Breakfast.

oto, family
