Breathing is helpful

This morning, at long last, I talked to my doctor about my sleep apnea. laurellady (and anyone else I've ever slept with or near) tells me that I snore very, very loudly. I also have obvious apnea episodes, where I go quiet for ten or twenty seconds and then let loose with a strangled gasping snore, often accompanied by a full-body spasm. i dated a guy with sleep apnea, and a cpap unit it quite a romance-reducer at night. but the upside was that a well-rested person is much less grouchy and much more fun to be around.

Please do get some help for this. I lost a good friend to sleep apnea...He was in his mid-twenties. I still miss him. I guess I do mean to scare you because it really is that serious...

indigo93 has a CPAP, and it has really changed his life. The first time he used it, he called me the next morning and told me that he had so much energy he felt like he was on SPEED. Good luck with it! There are also surgeries to treat it.
