[When the SFC turns on, you're greeted to a close-up of Ema's left eye. She sets the device down and steps back, with a grin on her face that's more than a little proud. Her goggles are on and she's wearing a pair of latex gloves; she's holding a white spray bottle and in one hand and what appears to be a white shirt in the other (bandaged) hand. There's a short pause before she speaks, while she swirls the spray bottle in her hand - you can tell she's enjoying this.]
Consider yourself lucky, Vatheon, because today you'll be getting a crash course in forensic science. We'll start off with something fairly simple: first, I'd like you to observe this shirt. Perfectly clean, right? Well...
[She darts out of the frame, and suddenly the apartment is pitch black. There's a brief moment of silence as she tries to find her way back, followed by a loud thump.]
...ugh, should have turned the lights on afterward...Right! Luminol, more formally known as C8H7N3O2, is a chemical that reacts to the presence of blood, and rather vibrantly at that. We'll just use this shirt here - you can't see it now, but I'm spraying some on, so use your imagination. Now, we wait for just a minute.
[It takes even less time than that before a faint bluish glow appears. It's small at first, but eventually you can see several large blue splotches in the darkness, the light bouncing of her goggles.]
And voilà! Impressive, isn't it? And that's just one of the many useful tools I've got on hand, so if you ever find anything that needs testing, you know who to call.
[The lights flicker back to life, and Ema looks positively triumphant.]
