sorry guys. i don't have internet access for my laptop, and the computers here in afghanistan that i DO get to use always block the LJ site, so i haven't been able to update. i'm on a different connection this time, though, so it's letting me on. awesome.
well well well. i made it afghanistan obviously. i've been in bagram, and i'm now in kandahar, soon to be going to tarin kowt, i believe. i've been to qatar and kuwait, as well. i'm getting some travel in, that's for sure.

we've taken some pretty good hits since i've been here. mortar attacks, rocket attacks, etc. i'll soon be going out on a road project that will take my squad right through taliban territory...and we'll be tearing down some houses to build the road. hmm...could get a little interesting. i'd love to say more, but i don't have much time on here. don't know when i'll be able to update LJ again, but you all have my address now, so send me letters or something if you wish. much love to you all...
