well, this is what has been going on the past couple days:
Yesterday., around midnight
nezmaster and I went to see Bewitched. It wasn't as bad as I feared. It was about making a remake of Bewitched for TV. Apparently some of the former characters appeared in ways to carry it along. They even had a cool cat. Nez thinks it might have done better as a tv special, rather than a feature film, but he was planning to give it a 1 rating. He moved that up to three. We cuddled, and talked, and spent some time together.
Today, I didn't have much planned. We were going to the Greek Festival and changed the date to tomorrow, around 4ish. So, Nez wasn't feeling good anyway - the heat, nerves, stress, and the bunny not feeling too good. I ended up cataloging some stuff for Nez, dishes, and a load of laundry. I also ended up cooking, since he didn't feel up to it. Lemon chicken, buttered parsley shells, canned corn, and a bowl of sliced up peaches that were sitting in the fridge, just waiting for me :) .I also made lemonade, since I was craving that more than soda.
At last minute, we decided to see "the Scottish Play" in Central Park. That was the first time I had ever stepped foot in that park. They set the play up in a more traditional format thatn the time I saw it in NC. Their MacBeth wasn't working for me, but I loved Lady MacBeth.
glamkit didn't believe her in the second half, but I thought it carried well. The three sisters were well done. It was enjoyable, and I liked the fact that the play also had natural lighting - fireflies. During intermission I was catching them and letting them go. I'm silly, aren't I?
It brought back memories from my Lost Colony days. I liked working in theatre, and the people there were great. They helped me get a backbone, and to be creative. They also stood behind me during a difficult part of childhood. The smell of skin so soft, the benches, the lighting... it brought back the memories. I brought a blanket and a pillow. Glamkit tried to steal it (the pillow) for the second half, but I wouldn't let her. I knew I'd need it, and she should have thought that far ahead. She ended up sitting on Arcane for most of the rest of the second half. I felt sorry for him, because it blocked his view somewhat. But, I knew to bring it, and she should have  So there :)
It's been hot. I ended up talking to a friend for a couple hours - at least it seemed that long :) and it was really nice. I like learning more about my friends. And it is really easy to talk to him.
