Lawrence is 5'7 with bright blond hair and eyes as black as coal. His hair is most commonly tied in a very neat ponytail by a red ribbon with several strands dangling down at the front on both sides, symmetrically.
When not in his uniform, Lawrence prefers to wear anything from a dress shirt and a pair of pants to a full suit, with a pink cravat pinned to his neck by an emerald-colored pin. He usually wears black dress shoes, which he has been known to polish daily. A personal touch he has made to his uniform is the emerald pin which he has been known to use instead of the school pin.
Personality:
Lawrence is usually a very cold, condescending student with a very intelligent, calculating interior underneath. He is generally antisocial, usually choosing to stray away from large groups and awkward situations by reading a book (usually a mystery novel, and his preference is classic mystery ranging from Arthur Conan Doyle to Raymond Chandler to Agatha Christie, and so on). He is always coming and going and has been known to stick completely to his appointments.
Despite his cold, calculating nature, however, Lawrence has never told a lie. If he is asked a question up front, he will be as bluntly honest as he possibly can earning him some amount of respect from some unlikely people.
He has an almost unshakable confidence in everything he does, and when he makes a promise he will do all he can to keep it. He is a man with a great amount of self-determination to achieve his goals. When it comes to something he really cares about, he can display an overwhelming desire to protect it, despite his unpleasant nature.
History: When Lawrence was five years old, his parents died in an unfortunate car accident. He was placed in an orphanage afterwards, where he lived for three years until he was adopted by his benefactor at the age of eight. He has lived with his benefactor ever since, learning the finer points of how to be a gentleman and receiving a private education, which he mostly missed out on. It is because of his benefactor that he is able to attend school at Adessi Hall. Lawrence respects his caretaker a great deal, and will not discuss him with anyone he does not consider to be a close friend.
Due to the unfortunate demise of his parents, he has an unusual phobia of vehicles, and opts to walk everywhere rather than travel by vehicle. It is not uncommon for him to walk two miles on foot to get somewhere he could get to in minutes in a car, or on a bus.
He also has social anxiety disorder, which prevents him from communicating well with people and prevents him from partaking in social activities. The only person he can communicate with fluidly is his benefactor, and because of his social ineptitude he prefers to remain unapproachable.
Lawrence's motivation to do so well in school comes from the encouragement he has received from his benefactor over the years. He has been brought up as someone who will one day achieve something great, and it has been instilled into him that he has a future despite his unfortunate past. His benefactor, a well-rounded businessman, has raised Lawrence to be the son he was never allowed to have and given Lawrence all the opportunities he could possibly give. He taught Lawrence that the best way to conduct a business is honestly, and that a true man should not hide behind lies. Because of the immense amount of kindness his benefactor showed him, and the respect he developed, Lawrence refuses to casually speak about him. In fact, Lawrence thinks of this man as more of a true friend rather than a simple guardian.
