As was originally established in Lawrence’s profile but never really paid attention to by me (because I’m stupid sob) Lawrence has already been at Adessi Hall for 2 years and is just now entering his third year at the school. During the summer, he tried to apply for an internship at Abaton’s police department, but upon completing his application and submitting it he was informed by Heinrich that all of the internship positions were filled.
Lawrence: How is that even possible!?
Heinrich: It does seem a bit unbelievable! It’s as if every prospective detective in Abaton decided to intern over the summer! Imagine that, Lawrence!
(NO, it didn’t go this way, but it’s paraphrasing. Totes legit.)
SO, his hopes dashed utterly, Lawrence was ushered to a job as a summer camp counselor by Heinrich. It was a horrible, horrible experience for Lawrence. The kids were very cruel to him and he hated every second of being there. By the time he’d left, he was informed that the kids really took to him and he could come back at any time. Lawrence could not be happier to be back at Adessi this year, seriously. From the very beginning he will probably be pretty irritable (like he wasn’t before, sob) but it should clear up after the first few weeks.
New information aside, we’ll get into the old stuff now. Lawrence can usually be found in the library or at his room on campus. He never really goes into the city unless he has to, and sometimes will go outside to read in the courtyard or someplace he won’t be bothered, though usually only when Ezra’s in his room and he can’t get a moment to himself. When he’s off for a long period (spring break, Christmas, etc) he usually goes home to be with Heinrich. However, Lawrence can always be reached over his personal Twitter account (see that post there) or just by PM.
Lawrence is difficult to make friends with. Most people irritate him so he won’t really give them the time of day unless he has to. The most interactions he’ll be doing with people are if they approach him first, if they’re part of one of his investigations, or if he really has to. However, when he does make friends with someone, he can be surprisingly devoted to them and will protect them, as well. Most characters probably won’t know Lawrence because he doesn’t stick out, but they might know of him. He has probably at least heard the names of those who share the same year with him, and may have them in some of his classes.
