Ritsuko approached the Haynes household nervously. Tonight was the night. She would be spending the night with Mattie for the first time in their relationship. They had never had this time to themselves before since their parents had always prevented them unintentionally. Mattie made sure to turn off the burner for the stove before getting the door. Walking Hikaru home caused him to lose some time but he still mangaged to get the food done though the dessert still needed some time.

He made his way to the door and opened it seeing Ritsuko he gave her a soft smile. "You look extra cute tonight."

Her cheeks darkened at his compliment. "Thanks!" she replied cheerfully. "Smells good. What's on the menu?"

"I hope you don't mind I am not much of a cook when it comes to japanese cuisine. The cookbook confused the hell out of me so I stuck to what I know. I made one hell of a chicken scampi if you ever had Italian." Mattie said with a shy smile as he let Ritsuko in.

"Food is finished if you want to go make yourself comfortable I will serve it. To keep it traditional though I did make a Japanese dessert . Sakura mochi I hope its good as its the first time I attempted it." Mattie said as he went in the kitchen to start serving the food.

Ritsuko giggled. Mattie was working hard on this dinner. She walked into the other room and waited.

Mattie grabbed the bowls of food and brought them out to the table where he began setting them up. Once he finished that he took Ritsuko's plate and made it for her before making his own. Sitting down he smiled as he pulled out a fork. "Can you manage with these?"

"I think so. They can't be much different than spoons anyway," she said, impressed at his gentlemen manners.

Mattie laughed as he began to eat his food. He was becoming less shy around Ritsuko but he still had his moments when he didn't know what to say. It wasn't long before he brought out the Sakuramochi. "Lets go start the movie we can eat these while we watch it."

"Ooh those look good! I thought you said you couldn't cook Japanese food?" she said as she took a seat on the couch.

"I can't this is from a book. I just hope it taste alright." he took a bite and was delighted it wasn't horrible. He pushed play on the DVD remote and watched as the movie started. He snuggled closer to Ritsuko on the couch as be became wrapped up in the movie.

Ritsuko finished her dessert, her eyes watching the screen of the TV. She couldn't really get into the movie. Her mind was on other things. The lights were off, the only light in the room coming from the TV. She was sitting really close to Mattie on the couch. She could feel his his warmth, his heart beat. She closed her eyes for a moment, ready for what would come next.

Taking her eyes off the TV, Ritsuko shifted so that she was now facing Mattie. She went to kiss him.

Mattie didn't object just leaned back a bit to make it more comfortable and put his arms around Ritsuko. He liked making out with her. He could kiss Ristuko for hours on end and be content.

Well this was it. She had to play up to the girlfriend role if she wanted to keep him around.

Ritsuko adjusted herself so that she was standing on her knees on the couch. She broke away from him to pull off her shirt and begain tugging at his pants.

Mattie opened his eyes in confusion when the kisses stopped only to see Ritsuko take off her shirt. He swore his eyes bugged as his brain slowed as to what was happening. It wasn't until she started messing with his pants did it catch on.

He jumped up off the couch in shock. "Whoa, whoa stop!" he said firmly and threw his hands up in the air. "What's gotten into you?"

Ritsuko was shocked and dumbfounded. This had never happened before. Usually the guys were eager for sex. She felt a pain of regret as she tried to think what she did wrong. "What? Did I do something wrong?" she yelled, her eyes becoming watery.

"Y-yes!" Mattie sputtered. "You took your shirt off." Mattie combed his hand through his hair. "I don't want that."

Ritsuko took this as he just didn't want to see her naked. She felt the urge to argue augment in her. "I'm sorry I'm so hideous to you!" she yelled, wrapping one arm around her as she grabbed her shirt from the floor. She felt tears streaming down her face now. Some time ago, she would have obediently put her shirt back on and continued to take the boys pants off. For some reason, it really upset her that he wanted her shirt on.

"I'll just...I'll just go," she said through sobs.
