Bonjour!
I am currently in the internet cafe in the Montmarte district of France. I'm trying to pass some time before meeting with everyone else for dinner.
I have been having an absolutely brilliant time. I have purchased everyone's souveners that asked for them plus a little bit more. I sent out all the post cards this morning so anyone who is getting one will get them.... probably after I get back - such is the way of international mail.
All of the kids have been great - so much better then expected and all of that rain that was called for... well, you know how the weather channel can be:) The only day of serious rain was yesterday - it rained a lot all day but other then that, we have had a couple of random sprinkle showers but not too much. It's mostly been sunny and cold. But, being cold in Paris is better then being cold in Michigan - lemme tell ya.
I will tell you all more upon my arrival home; I have been making an hour by hour log. Not that I have updated every single hour but the hours that we change to something new, that we arrive places, leave places, etc. You will understand when I put it here. Mostly, it's to jog my memory incase I forget anything. But, it's also going to be used here so I don't have to describe every single detail of everything I did.
I have gotten to use so very much French and that is awesome, as always. I have a feeling though that it's going to be hard for me to get back into the swing of using English all the time so you'll all have to bear with me. I haven't used "thank you" since I've gotten here (it's been Merci of course).
I'm most excited about tomorrow I think as we are going to spend almost all day in Le Cartier Latine (The Latin Quarter), which is my favorite bit of Paris. Also, tomorrow morning, the markets will be set up outside the hotel I'm staying in and I love French markets:)
I hope all of you are wonderful. I miss so many of you but I really am having an absolutely wonderful time here. I tell you, it's going to be a bit hard I think to come home.
