racoons in the moon
last night i awoke to thuds and thumps just outside my bedroom window... the window that looks out onto our pond and the very back part of our back yard. i swept aside the curtain and peeked out, a little afraid of what i might see. but in the moonlight i discovered three racoons frolicking and wrestling with eachother in the grass. the three of them were a big adorable fuzzy racoon colored ball. cute.
today happens to be another day that i want nothing more than to stay all by my lonesome in my room listening to music and making things... maybe a little break to go for a walk in oaks bottom or to go get some tea. just me and my thoughts. i've been wanting a day like that (a whole start-to-finish day) for so long. but my life doesn't seem to involve those kinds of days anymore.
