Registration is DONE and I got all the classes I wanted and YAY. So nice to not have to worry about that. Classes are as follows:
CHEM101F Fundamental Chemistry--class 4 days a week, with labs on Tuesdays from 6-9:00. At night. *groan*
HIST101A Roots of the Western Experience--Was going to take Western Civ, but I was told the teacher was veryveryvery straightforward and such I don't handle blatant criticism well from professor-types. From real people, yeah fine whatever, but from authority figures? dreeeeead.
PHIL101D Intro to Philosophy--yeah, I'm excited. ^___^
REL110AMagic and Religion--this is my advising seminar, and my professor is an adorable woman that I already love, so this should be a great class. And I get to have really interesting books because of it, so yay!
Speaking of books, I went and looked up all the books I need for my classes, and the total comes to $344.50. Not as bad as I thought it would be, and the thing is--the most expensive one is the chem book that's $150, and my roommate is in the same class, at the same time and everything, so we're wondering if buying 2 books is completely necessary. Hmpf. Of the rest of the books I need, the most expensive is $21, so that's why I have a nice, inexpensive list.
....I just said $344.50 was inexpensive. Dear god.
Am going to email my leader person to tell him that I'd rather not go to the camping silliness. My RA already hates Jane and me because we don't go to any of the campus activities, but yanno? We both think people are stupid, so why would we put ourselves in a position where we'll hate on them even more?
Will be spending the next couple days, then, catching up on online stuff. I miiiiiiiiss all of yooooooou!
