Oh my!

Kelsey got back on Friday! So what does that mean? MOVIE WEEKEND!

Cut for spoilerishness, though not really too bad.
The Island: Um, was I the only one surprised that this movie didn't suck? That I actually paid attention to the plot and not just the Ewan/Beanie UST? And, omg, Ewan on Ewan action? He bit himself! He made fun of himself! HE MOUNTED HIMSELF! GUH. But yes. ahem. Beanie was lovely and slightly sinister, and yanno, I actually don't mind Scarlett Johansson so much.

Kinsey: Watched this again, and this time I was less disturbed by the "OMG LIAM ISN'T BEING QUI-GON!" and was able to appreciate the movie for something beyond the fact it had Liam Neeson kissing another man. ^____^ It really is a great movie; I love it muchly.

Young Adam: Watched about half of this again, but then Kelsey fell asleep, so I went online and finished reading an epic obi-in-prison!fic. (oh yeah, you know the kind ;) )

Invader Zim: Why didn't anyone tell me this is the cutest cartoon ever? So much love! Gir! So adorable! Jayson was watching with us, and he fell asleep. ^__^ Was pretty cute.

Oz: Wow. wow. Talk about intense, freaky weird obsessive love. I made Kelsey stop at season 4, because at the end of Season 3 they're so happy after all that angst and I just don't think I could take them breaking up and being angsty and killing former lovers and breaking limbs again.

Blue Juice: Oh. my. God. Dear Britain: Please keep making happy surfing movies. Because this was way better than I ever expect. I was expecting the crappiest crap ever based on a review that said Ewan and Catherine Zeta Jones had bit parts and the movie was silly, but what I got was a great little movie about British surfers. Rock so hard. Ewan was absolutely hilarious, and Sean Pertwee is quite lovely. I think that reviewer was just pissed the Ewan wasn't the main character and he didn't get naked. ^^; Even though the cover of the movie is completely misleading.

Love Actually: Well, we had to watch this, because we had a craving for absolutely adorable!Liam. God, I love this movie so much. We skipped over the parts where Alan Rickman is being a bitch and Emma Thompson cries, because I really didn't feel like crying last night, and we also skipped over the parts with Collin Firth, because he looks "JUST LIKE CONNELL AH. If you gave him a face lift and a haircut. And made him stop making that face. Oh the Connell.

But! The Liam parts are especially adorable, and dear god I love that little kid. So cute. And Liam! GAH. Also watched the deleted scenes--Liam Neeson lip-syncing is the greatest thing in the history of ever. Also great is Liam blaming beastiality porn sites on a small child. *loves more on Liam*

We also rented Trainspotting, The Pillow Book, and The Price of Milk, but did not watch them. Really, the only reason we rented them was so we could burn them. (pirates! We are pirates!) Seriously? I have every intention of buying these movies when I have money. Until then, I will have a slightly lesser-quality version of it, because I am Poor.

Look! I'm doing the Blogathon! You should too! I'm really excited for this, though I really don't know why. It just sounds like fun, a good excuse to be online, and it's for charity. You can't beat that combination, really.

House Pride has been crazy lately. Seriously. So. many. people. Too bad very few (if any at all) have anything of interest to say. Ack. People can be so retarded.

Am going to eventually get around to writing up my HBP review, I promise. Just as soon as I stop being lazy.
