Moving...
We just received confirmation from our landlords that we can move into the house in Puyallup. We don't know exactly when we will take possession of the house or when they'll be out of it but they said we can start moving the stuff we have in storage into the basement.
Spike called me just a few minutes ago to let me know how much rent is and that we can start moving stuff into the basement. I asked him what he thought and he said we should and could. So, looks like it's a go.
It's a little more expensive than what we're paying here...BUT it's also 1700 SQ ft living space with 800 SQ ft basement storage as opposed to the 900 something SQ ft house we have now. It's also much closer to his work in Fife, and it should make family happy that we're moving closer. We also have the option for purchase on a lease option plan, but that'll come later.
Not sure what the distance difference from there to my sponsor's place, but it shouldn't be all that much. Spike is aware and continues to support my falconry so he knows I will be driving to his place either way. Still going to be a kestrel for the first bird. Course, I'll be closer to some prime starling hunting near Spike's work. *grin*
Anyway, so that is the latest news. Now I have to collect totes and boxes for packing. I have a feeling, come August, we're going to have a yard sale at the new place.
