Christmas fulfillment

As I said before Christmas this year was about selflesness. I had a lovely weekend.
Firstly I drove to canterbury to see dad and his family. He had organised a carol concert for my nan at her home (retirement complex) with all the uncles playing/singing/reading etc. The whole thing was hilarious, as my uncle managed to take the piss out of everyone, including calling my dad queer, which I will have to watch back to see everyones facial expressions. As well as my 6year old cousin singing a song about an Invitation to christmas (the cutest thing in the world EVER). Then there was the onslaught of Christmas shopping...christmas tea...christmas breakfast...christmas dinner with the family and then of course Christmas Casualty special (which I was well impressed with!).
Then christmas day itself arrived...(btw I'd already eaten a christmas dinner the night before, with an array of cakes!) We arrived at Purley Baptist church to have a Cross word with thousands of tinsel related words in it, and a point in the direction of escorting people to their chairs.
I then met up with my friends Caroline and K and we promptly started talking to these ladies and gents who would other wise had been at home alone for christmas. After being force fed copious amounts of brussel sprouts and moaning to a friend about the lack of alcohol *it was a church...so i should have kept quiet!* We then had a half hour quiz. Playing call my bluff and getting my friend to put her hair behind her ears everytime the right answer was called out! lol! So our team won!
Then it was off to megans for Boxing day. Whilst mum and I were reluctant to get up at 8 am we plodded our sleepy selves over to Windlesham where hundred of people were dressed up as centurians, pirates, WAGs, pink ladies, deal or no deal boxes, little britain and various other things. We watched them race getting more drunk as the morning went on.
Megs and I then went home to kill our voices on singstar! Which is hilarious! Then we unlocked a whole load of songs on guitar hero! Tee hee! Soooooo much fun!

Oh well...
Right that was remarkably un-creative writing!
Have a lovely new year!
Take care ....
