Hmmm. I guess it has been awhile since I have updated this thing. Mostly because I have been doing nothing but school and hanging out with Houston when we can manage it. Although the Houston part is always uber exciting, the school part has totally sucked. Mostly because I have had to set in Biology at 8am for two months. Latin was awesome, but hard and time consuming, but i feel like ten times smarter now. I reached my goal for the summer gradewise: 17 hours completed and a 3.98 gpa for the summer. Well, I guess I almost reached it. I got a stinkin' A- in Bio II, but I have decided that I am going to stop obssessing. As much as I love school now (UAB nearly killed all desire to learn) I miss Birmingham - well mostly the people in Birmingham. I had such a great life and great friends there. Here everybody looks and acts exactly the same. I swear they are all clones. Well, at least 70% are clones. But I have decided that I am on a mission to find the intresting people in Tuscaloosa. I know they have to be here somewhere. I am have decided to start volunteering at the Animal Shelter (mostly because i miss my cat) and i am going to try and get on the staff of The Crimson White. i have also vowed to actually be active in College Democrats like i have been saying i am going to do for three years. Of course now it is more important than ever! LUCY BAXLEY FOR GOVERNOR!!!! i finally get a break from school for awhile. I am leaving for South Carolina on Tuesday to help Houston move and to have some general all purpose fun and debauchery before i go back to school on the 24th. I probably go back to Enterprise for a few days afterwards to get some groceries and stuff. I am actually really excited about my classes in the Fall. I think they are going to be totally awesome. If you go back a bit in my journal there is whole handy dandy list of them with descriptions. I spent half and hour last night looking up the novels i have to read to see what they are about, and now i am even more excited than I was before. Yes, I know I am total nerd.
