'A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate wind chills at or less then 20 below zero. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors... dress in layers and cover all skin. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves. Limit outdoor activity to minimize exposure... as frostbite can occur in 30 minutes or less."

It's cold as fuck and I had to go to the Art Institute this morning. Chicago is all decked out for the Bears. The Art Institute Lions have Cubs helmets on them. Pretty cute. After wandering through the Asia gallery with Tingerbell for a while. Then we walked outside to catch the bus home but instead ducked into Macy's and got some Shoyu Ramen and Braised Pork fried rice at Seven on State. And biting into that great pork, I loved Chicago intensely for a few moments, despite the cold outside.

Maybe just a cigarette more...
