I've written this almost 3 months ago, and only completed the last half of it this afternoon. Haha! Well yeah, as you can see from the subject of this post, it's a Rupert/Emma fanfiction. So for those of you who are uncomfortable reading such stories, I won't recommend you to read it.
Title: Conversations On The Sets
Author:
isnaniRating: PG
Pairing: Rupert/Emma (Duh!)
Summary: Rupert and Emma have quite an UST conversation...
Disclaimer: This never happened!! Kill me if it did!
"CUT!!" shouted an angry Mike Newell. "Emma! Can you please stop doing that?!"
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to. And I'm so sorry, Stan," she looked at her dance partner, apologising for what seemed to be the hundredth time.
Even after taking numerous lessons at waltzing, Emma still could not get the grips of the dance steps. She kept stepping on poor Stanislav's feet.
"Hey, it's okay, you know. I'm cool with it," her co-star said gently.
It took them another three shots until they got the shot perfectly. Mr Newell then called for a one-hour break and everyone broke into their own groups; the atmosphere suddenly feeling more relaxed.

Rupert looked around the sets of the newly-designed Great Hall, still admiring the beauty of it. He just could not believe the old looking hall he have been working in for almost 5 years now had been transformed into an enchanting place. But his thoughts were eventually dismantled by a girl, who he recognised as one of the extras.
"Hi, Rupert! Umm... if you don't mind, can I, uh... have your autograph? And maybe a picture with you?"
Rupert smiled and gave his fan what she wanted. As the girl walked off, grinning thankfully, Rupert resumed his position looking around the sets from his seat. Daniel he saw was talking to Matthew Lewis, and Robbie Coltrane was talking to David Heyman. Almost everybody he saw was busy doing something.
It was not until he glanced to his left did he spot Emma, sitting alone in a secluded corner with her back to him. He sighed at the sight of her. His eyes travelled from her curly hair to her smooth arms. His face twitched with a smile as a memory came to him of when he first met her. She was so small and cute then. Now she's beautiful! ...NO! Pretty... yeah, pretty...
As much as he wanted to deny it, he could not help feeling attracted to the Watson girl. Every time there's a scene which hinted a Ron/Hermione moment; his heart raced, his face reddened, and his palms sweaty. He still remembered the hand holding moment in the third film. He had to continuously rub his hands on his pants to dry them off. He really did hope Emma did not notice how clammy his hand was the time she held it.
It was not until a shout was heard that he came back to reality and realised that he was starring at Emma's bare back. He prayed no one noticed it since then, it will create some big rumour and he definitely could not deal with that right now.
He looked around the sets again and back to Emma. With a sigh, he stood up and strode towards the lonely actress.

She felt humiliated to be criticised in front of so many people. As much as she appreciated Stanislav's patience with her, she could not help feeling he was doing that just because he felt he had to considering he's a newcomer.
"Emma?"
Surprised at the intrusion of her thoughts, she looked up to see her co-star, Rupert Grint. Her face immediately heat up at the sight of him. She hated to have someone see her crying.
"May I join you?"
Her heart fell for his soft, gentle voice. It almost sound loving, but of course she would ignore that. She quickly nodded at his question.
"Bad day?"
Letting out a soft sniff, she nodded again, "Yeah."
There was an awkward silence after that. Rupert had never been the one to have a one-to-one personal talk with her. Usually, it was Daniel who sat and talked. But she welcomed the change.
"You know, Em, no one really cares what you did, just now. I don't. Everyone makes mistakes, you know."
Emma remained silent.
"Though I do pity Stan's feet. The poor bloke must be applying medication to them, right now."
Emma let out a chortle, whacking Rupert on the shoulder and rolled her eyes. That's what she loved about him. He always had a good knack with his comic timing.
"Thanks, Rupert," she smiled, earning a smile back from the redhead teenage boy.
"Anytime... Though yes, as I was saying, I'm pretty glad JK Rowling didn't made you come to the ball with me. Or else, I'll be the one with sore feet."
Again she whacked him, giggling uncontrollably. "Stop it!"
Emma grew to love his company. His deep voice had always sound very masculine, yet caring to her, which she had secretly admitted to be very sexy.
"Rupert, I heard you're signing a new movie?" Emma asked trying to strike up a new conversation.
"Yeah. Umm... it's called 'Driving Lesson' or so I was told. Shooting begins after I finish this one."
"Oh. What is it about?"
"Now, now, Em... I wouldn't want spoiling it, wouldn't I?"
"Pleeeeeease..." Emma pleaded, giving him what she thought her best 'puppy-pout' look.
"Fine, you got me," he groaned. "Basically it's about a boy (me) working for a retired actress. Blah blah blah.. I met this girl who later on becomes my girlfriend -"
"You'll have a girlfriend?" Emma perked up at this information.
"Uh... yeah."
"Oh. Who's the actress?"
If Rupert was not mistaken, he would have recognised a hint of jealousy in her tone.
"Erm... her name's Tamsin."
"What kind of name is that?" she mumbled to herself. "You have to kiss her then?"
"Uh... I don't know."
"Is she pretty?"
"I haven't seen her yet... Emma? Why are you asking me all these questions?"
She shrugged innocently. "Just curious."
Rupert merely raised an eyebrow. A thought suddenly hit him making him grin mischievously.
"You're jealous!"
"What?! No I'm not! Why should I?"
Rupert continued to grin at her.
"Besides, I get to kiss you myself in the next film." With that, she stalked off to the busy sets, leaving a gobsmacked Rupert Grint.
A/N: I know Emma didn't do that horrible with the dancing thing... but eh! This is a fanfiction not for nothing!
