Wow. So I'm an asshole.
my mom gave me a ride home from work today, and we started messing with this couple in the car next to us at a light. Just making faces and whatnot. Then I noticed the guy signing to the girl next him "Why is that girl fucking with us?" She signs back "hating on deaf". The pulled away honking there horn and giving us the finger.
I felt so bad. I was so stunned that I couldn't even sign that I was sorry to them, or that I DON't hate the deaf or anything else to redeem myself.
