March 7 @ The Blind Pig
The Pop Project opens for Canada and Page France on Wednesday. We'll be playing two new songs and probably walking to the stage blindfolded. I can't even begin to count how many times we've played this venue, but it's still always pretty great. By the way, have you noticed that we've set a release date for our record? Yes, it's finally true. Check it out.
March 8 @ The Knights of Columbus (Lounge Room)
The Drinking Problem plays the Blowout at the new "lounge room" venue at the Knights of Columbus. Last year I ate some burritos there. Before us is Sea of Japan, a new band from Fabian Halabou with Sean Clancy on bass. After us is Child Bite (with Sean Clancy sluting it up on bass too) and Youth Group of Rome. The Drinking Problem will have both homemade shirts and Neil Young tribute LPs for sale. Not bad for a fake band, right?
March 10 @ Kelly's Bar
The Rants play the Blowout Saturday at 12:45. We'll be following the Recital, so you'll be there already. This is the last Rants show with this lineup, for real this time. We will be doing a couple tunes from the record we haven't played before, not that anyone's keeping track.
