Coachella? AMAZING.

It was worth every penny. The best performance award goes to !!!, who did a phenomonal job, everyone in the crowd was dancing, not just tapping their feet dancing, I mean, club dancing like crazy. It was so good. I had never heard of this band before, and we were just saving our spots for Bright Eyes when they come on stage and rock the house. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They are SO GOOD. They mixed the sound of funky beats, with rock, and a totally charismatic singer to make THE BEST performance of the day.

Bright Eyes was wonderful. They played Lover I Don't Have To Love...ahhh..so goooood. I was so close to that tormented boy, just five feet or so.

The Cure was surreal. I couldn't believe I was seeing them. They played all the hits, and Love Song was just great. I was really far because the first hundred or so people back had been waiting in front of that stage all day to be in front for The Cure, but I still saw Robert Smith...and it was grand.

The Flaming Lips put on a hilarious show which including zebra and skunk full body suits, a HUGE hollow plastic ball that the lead singer sat in while he crowd surfed, two huge inflatable sun characters, and a hand puppet.

I left at 2am on sunday, and got back at 6am today. I am exhausted, but pleasantly exhausted. In truth, I am pretty sad that its all over. It came and it went and now I have a year until the next one, but it won't be the same. Welp, all I have to do is hold on to the awesome memories I made. Man what a frickin great time. I plan on posting pictures.
