So a really cool person I just met is looking for a research position in petrophysics (seismology). Anyone heard anything? She's in VT and is currently unemployed. Ask your friends, ask your neighbours! Let me know!
Where is she looking? Locally I would look into Deer Island waste treatment (they have long deep undersea waste tunnels), the Mass DOT Big Dig and the NY sandhog operations. Anything that deals with studying subterranean tunnel paths and monitoring them.
Other than that Texas, Oklahoma, the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska are big.
