Storm Clouds - such a headache
Pretty uneventful day today.
The day started off with some lovely sunshine. Went downstairs to the gym and then after lunch in the garden I sorted out my problem with the phone company. We had been told that fiber internet connection was now available so we changed over our subscription to connect. Unfortunately it is only connected to number 17 on our street, that’s two doors down and the cables need to be installed across the façades of our neighbors home to reach ours. This was going to involve work on the neighbours facade, We would be required to demolish some details of the facade and then repair them so that the cable could pass user this decorative detail. All at our expense. The neighbour wasn’t too keen and neither was I to be truthful. So we have abandoned the installation for now.
This afternoon I went for a walk into the town centre of Perpignan. It is only 15 minutes walk. Storm clouds were circling and thunder was announcing itself but little rain fell. It’s often like this here, storms threaten but rarely produce a lot of rain. I’d prefer a real storm!
This evening I had a small migraine. I had only been thinking today that I hadn’t had one since being back in France! I feel like I willed it into life...
