Autumn has arrived.
The seasons have definitely turned here in the South of France. It was 12c when I woke this morning and the nights are closing in earlier with each passing evening. Although the colder months are not my favorite seasons I do think it makes us appreciate the arrival of the following spring and summer so much more. I grew up with 4 defined seasons in Melbourne so I still like to enjoy them now. The leaves have begun to reveal their autumnal tones which is always beautiful.
Today the renovation work on my apartment has officially finished! The last of the electrical wall plugs have been installed and I also now have lighting in every room. Although I didn't want it to happen so quickly, the renovation of exteriors will be the next job. This is being done in cooperation with my neighbours so that we can take advantage of the local government subsidies and negotiate a better price for the job.
