These are from trying to find the right discriptor for a story --- sadly, I think both options failed.
deluge
-noun
1. a great flood of water; inundation; flood.
2. a drenching rain; downpour.
3. anything that overwhelms like a flood: a deluge of mail.
4. the Deluge. flood (def. 3).
-verb (used with object)
5. to flood; inundate.
6. to overrun; overwhelm: She was deluged with congratulatory letters.
divulge
-verb (used with object)
1.to disclose or reveal (something private, secret, or previously unknown).
2.To make known (something private or secret).
3.Archaic To proclaim publicly.
The first one did create some very provocative imagry however... and I suspect the second is close enough to what I was looking for, so for now, I'll let it be.
