Grad School

One would assume that Grad school is much like upper level classes. I knew I would be required to write and read a great deal. Wrong! It also requires catering a whole meal to your fellow class mates on your designated night. The first night of class a food sign up list goes round the room and each student takes a night and brings food i.e. sandwiches,dessert and drinks - for between 15 to 25 people depending on the class. As luck would have it my presentation on the neo-gothic craftsmen movement in Britain is the same night that I must bring in food for 18 of my classmates.
I am slogging through the Iliad listening to one translation and reading another and ruminating on my first essay.
