First day of work
I was running a bit late....my fault. I stalled to long on the net chit chatting with friends til 10:50pm and then finally got ready...pretty quickly though. I didn't even think to mapquest the location before leaving. I just went to the website and got the directions from there. Well I was about 20 minutes late on my first day, however my boss was cool and non chalant with it all and said, "we'll see ya when you get here....everythings fine!" I'm realively new to P-town and driving in the dark as opposed to last Friday when I went in for my interview during the day worked against me.
So I clocked in and started on some paper work. I was then introduced to the guys on the clock at the desk. Really cool guys, one was my supervisor who trained me throughout our graveyard shift. I guess I'm stepping in to fill his shoes next week and thereafter. To make a long story short I'm working at a men's private club & spa...in other words it's a bathhouse...but the swankiest in Portland....well compared to any other in the Pacific Northwest that's for sure! I've posted the link in a previous post in an LJ cut.
Anyways, so far my first day should be a predicament of some truely interesting days and the obvious hot encounters! Today or lastnights shift, however you'd look at it went by pretty fast and smoothly. The hours work out fine for me because I'm a night owl. On a random note, they have AMAZING and I can't stress that word enough....AMAZING perks and bonuses. I could just go and on with that topic. So you can say I'm pretty stoked and looking forward to tonight...it's "Radical Rubdown nite" hehe.
