So...
...it seems as though I haven't posted on here in ages. But I guess at the same time, I don't really post anywhere. Oh well.
My laptop finally died, with no hope of revival. Pity, that for $2000, it barely lasted 2 years. Now I have a new one, much more powerful than before, and for only 1/3d of the cost. Hardly seems right. It came with the overly pretty Mac knock-off known as Vista, which I'm now dual-booting with Linux, though Linux is where I spend most of my time. Hopefully it'll last through the summer and fall seasons over in Iraq. We'll find out soon. Less than a month before I deploy!!
I move into my new apartment on Tuesday, and have started to go through my things and throw away all the crap I don't really need. I think the dumpster's going to have more of my stuff in it than the apartment will. Along the way, I found some letters that I got while in Basic from people who, like me, used to post here: Shannon, Whitney, Ciera, and others that I have since fallen out of touch with. It's sad.
Anyways, off to play some Zelda on my Wii.
