War of the Worlds

Well, I just saw the new War of the Worlds, and all in all, I'll say it was a decent film. The introduction is taken straight from the novel of over a century ago, and several other aspects are recognizable from the 1953 film version. Though the one thing that I find most interesting is that it's a pro-pollution film, saying how the Martians were doomed from the beginning just by breathing our air, and drinking our water, both contaminated with bacteria and other organisms.

but still...good film.
