Title: Not Fonda Jane I am now eating a higly coveted "chicken biscuit sammich" which my dad "risked his life, and the life of the bug" to get through Stonecrest traffic, so I can have said "sammich." When leaving Stonecrest, we were talking about how much I loathe Jane Fonda, what she did in protest during the Vietnam War was heinous. I have no qualms about protesting, everyone has the right to protest, and I do know that not much was gained from the war, but when she was in vietnam she was allowed to visit American POWs, (I think there were three of them that she met)during that time they slipped her little, tiny pieces of paper with their social security numbers so they could be identified, and their families would know where they were. She in turn gave the numbers to the men holding them captive, and they were executed. That is NOT protesting, that is MURDER. There are other offenses, but I really want to eat my "sammich" so that's all for now. But I am planning on making/buying shirts that say:
" Vietnam Vets are not Fonda Jane" & "Jane Fonda, America Traitor Bitch"
So why am I upset after all this time? She never apologized to the families, and everytime I see her in trailors for that new JLo movie, it pisses me off all over again.
In breaking news, there is a "VW Thing", in the parking lot of my office building. it's white, with astro turf instead of interior carpeting. The best part is the bumper sticker that says, "Don't Stare at My Thing" I want one soooo bad, the guy who works on my dad's beatle has two for sale. He specializes in older VWs- I definately would want the astroturf upgrade. wooh!
