(no subject)
I just got back from seeing Sin City. AMAZING movie. I loved it. I'm going back to see it tomorrow (there's you a little more warning April. And you and Andon are still more than welcome to come along.) The whole film is spot colored. I couldn't believe it. I've always's loved spot colored stuff. If I had the time, I would have put some spot coloring in my Shawn King film.
I don't want to talk too much about it for those that haven't seen it, but well...Quintin Tarintino did have a hand in directing it, so expect lots of blood.
And what made the movie even more enjoyable for me...I got someone kicked out of the theater!! About midways through, I started hearing some guy talking. It was kinda quiet, so I couldn't tell where it wa comming from, but a minute or so later, it became kinda obvious. After another minute or so, when his voice (from across the auditorium) became louder than the movie itself, the girl next to me and I looked at each other, and then I yelled to the guy: "Hey! This is a movie. Shut up!" maybe I shouldn't have, but if it had worked, I figured that the audience would forgive me. But it didnt work. He still kept talking, so I walked out and told a manager. She came and talked to him, and left, and he kept talking. (The story repeats a few times here, so I'll skip ahead a little...) The cops came in and escorted him out. I'd been with a theater for 2 years, never kicked anyone out. the first movie I see after quiting, I get someone kicked out.
