O.o

Uhhh.... wow. Such drama!
Did they manage to get the fire out?
And did K finally get his truck moveable?
For a moment, I thought he'd gone over to shovel the fire victim's driveway.......!!! Lol.

As the saying goes, they saved the foundation. Complete loss, and didn't wrap up until about 11. They were getting the water from the Friendship fire station as it's closer than Waldoboro's. They were running trucks in a "bucket brigade" and pumping down 1100 feet of hose to Friendship's small, 4 wheel drive pumper truck which supplied the hoses to to house. None of the big trucks went down the driveway. Five towns responded to the fire, and a sixth stood by in the station to cover the rest of the town. The woman who lived there is OK. She was fighting the fire herself, and that's why she didn't want to leave.

K got his truck brake unstuck with a big hammer, and I had no idea what he might have been up to. Hard tellin' with him sometimes.

That's a frightening way to wake up. I hope everyone and everything is okay. Very glad you're okay.

For a minute I thought it was the house across the street. The woman who lived there is OK, but the house burned to the ground.

Yeah, flickering orange/red light on the curtains is a scary sight!

It was, but it's excitement I could do without. In fact, I hope I never wake like that again!
