[Early in the morning, Riku's PokéGear clicks on, providing a lovely view of his room. Fast asleep on the bed is Riku with an Eevee on his head and a Rilo using his chest as a pillow. Next to the bed, curled up in a corner is his Charizard, Flare, quietly snoozing with his tail curled around him. The feed moves around a bit until a Hauner's face takes up the entire screen for a split second.

However, this doesn't last long; the Gear's lowered down on some hard surface with the camera focused on a baby Skarmory, a big ol' Feraligatr and, soon enough, Phantom.

Jaws the Feraligatr holds a bucket level with his chest, and he looks up at Phantom with a low roar and a frown on his face. He glances over at the bed, then points at Flare. In response, Phantom shakes hi head and flicks the bucket. If he had feet, he'd be tapping them right about now.

Meanwhile, the over-eager Skarmory's starting to get a little impatient and begins hopping and squacking, flapping his wings in excitement. What can he do? Does he get to carry something too? Huh, huuuuh?

But all his shrieking comes to an end when Phantom clamps his beak shut. He then turns back to Jaws and gestures towards Riku, making a soft, static sound that almost sounds like a splash. Reluctantly, Jaws nods and begins filling the bucket with water...

Once full, he slowly carries it towards the bed, occasionally stopping to pout at Phantom. Still, there's no way out of it, not without being spooked by Phantom! He must do this, even if Master yells at him later for getting him all wet, and even if he gets chewed on by an Eevee and punched in the gut by a Riolu. Maybe it won't be so bad! All he has to do is---

Right before Jaws reaches the bed, he suddenly loses his footing , tripping on Flare's tail. The bucket flies into the air, dumping water on the snoozing Charizard and Riku's bed.

Everything's quiet at first, but within a matter of seconds, Flare's eyes snap open, Riku wakes up from his sleep, and the silence of the room is broken with a thunderous:]

Rrrrrroooooooooarrrrrrrrr!

[Flames spew out of Flare's mouth, and soon the Eevee and Riolu join the fray. What happens next is a rather strange battle between Riku's Pokémon; although Riku tries to calm his team down, the battle goes on with flames, water, and shadow balls colliding with explosive fury, while the sounds of roars, shrieks, and hissing fill the room.

It's not until Riku fetches his Pokéballs that the battle finally calms down; all six of his Pokémon return to their balls, and Riku flops back on the bed in spite of the now soaked blankets.]

What a mess...

[With that taken care of, he turns off his gear. He's too tired to bother with that video, and it's high time he had a nice talk with his team.]

[A few hours later, Riku starts up another feed. By then, his Pokémon are out and about again, although Phantom's nowhere in sight.]

I swear, sometimes ghost Pokémon can be a real handful. Even when I try to keep Phantom in his ball, he manages to get out somehow.

[A beat.]

Sorry if he woke anyone up; next time I'll put him in the PC before I go to bed.

[He sighs and shakes his head, turning the camera towards a pile of eggs.]

Anyway, if anyone's interested, I've still got Charmander and Totodile eggs I need to sell. I'd be willing to trade them for a Scyther or Sneasel, maybe some kind of dragon type. Mainly, I'm trying to get them sold before I leave town, especially since I need to go back and get the Hive Badge.

[The video focuses back on Riku.]

If you want one, just let me know. You don't have to be in Goldenrod to buy them; if you're somewhere else, I'll just send Highwind.

[ooc: The first part of the post occurs very early in the morning. Maybe at 2 or 3 AM. The second part takes place at much more reasonable hours; maybe around 7.

Feel free to respond to the Pokémon or Riku-- I'm also cool with others in the inn overhearing the ruckus; just about anything goes.]

thirteenth, action, haunters are a pain, overdue post get!, video, crazy pokémon shenanigans, eggs
